Greg Wilson got his training under the founders of the Professional Theatre Training Program of the
University of Wisconsin. Greg learned his craft from American theatre training legends Sanford
Robbins, Jewel Walker, Robert Chapline, Leslie Rydell, BH Barrie, Penelope Reed, Nicolas Pennel and
many more. After being trained by this amazing group of working theatre professionals, Greg did some
professional work, playing various parts in musicals, comedies and classic Greek and Shakespearian
productions. Greg also did voice-over work for TV and radio.
For over twenty years, Greg has traveled throughout the United States, Europe, Africa, and many other
parts of the globe speaking and performing for audiences large and small.
For five years, Greg Wilson served on the staff at Cornerstone Church in the Nashville, TN. area. Over
the years, Greg built an incredible drama department presenting life changing plays, dramas, and
Illustrated sermons that have inspired literally thousands of people. When people see a production at
Cornerstone, they always question where they hired the pool of professionals to present the productions.
Of course the answer is that all of these are church members! God has gifted Greg with the ability to
teach amateurs to perform at a professional level.
In late 2003, God lead him to put together a one man play called “Hats” and take it to churches around
the country as a Drama Evangelist . Greg has responded to a call to speak, act, train, and motivate
throughout the United States and beyond.
Greg continues to act in film, television commercials, and on the stage as well as directing musicals and
plays. Greg also teaches drama to children, teens and adults.
The most important part of this story is left for last. Greg has been "ecstatically" married for over 28 years
and is the father of four amazing children!
